Chlorine Dioxide Tablet (20 gram)

I got this 1ness Extra Strenth Premium Heavy Duty Chlorine Dioxide Odor Neutralizing Tablets because vagrants were urinating on my building (a serious problem in the big city). I was going through tons and tons of bleach to remove the odor, which was also ruining my clothes. I decided to try this, and it works -- the smell of it is strong though.I do recommend putting the tablet in the distilled water OUTSIDE because the fumes are pretty noxious. The tablet was so big that I had to take a hammer to it to break it up for it to fit in the spray bottle -- that probably released more fumes than if you just dropped it into a bucket of water. I also had to go purchase distilled water and a new bottle, but I really like that they include a label so you can stick it on the bottle and know all the warnings. (For my use, I probably should have put it in a container that can attach to a hose instead of a bottle.)

I used the Chlorine Dioxide Odor Neutralizing Tablets to clean my bathroom floor where my pet has her potty area. I also used it in her plastic potty pad bin. I wore gloves, eye protection and a mask. I also ventilated my bathroom. It’s easy to use. You just add the tablet to water as instructed. Then shake it to dissolve it, then use. I used a spray bottle. It did make my bathroom smell much fresher. My bin still had a slight odor but was much better. Make sure you read all the instructions before using.

Used this to get smoke smell from a car my mom got. It worked very well. Great value for the price, easy to use, and got rid of the smell.

We had mice in our suv, caught them but the smell was awful and we were out of town. We used this product to make the car usable until we get home and can give it a more thorough cleaning. Thank you so much!

Not sure what I expected but they left a bit of a bleach-y chemical smell behind in the car I used this in. I don’t know if I’d buy this again for a car (I think it was a bit much for one small vehicle and I’m sensitive to smells), but I’d definitely consider it for apartment cleanup before or after moving.Definitely make sure you air out the area after using.

I've never used a product like this before, so it's a great beginner friendly way to do it. I recently did a huge cleanout of my garage after having piles of cardboard in one half of it for over 7 years... This is great for deneutralizing whatever other mustyness has built up from there.

We have a bathroom in our house that's just well, not permanently stinky, but can get stinky in a short time due to its small size and lack of good ventilation (and a teenage boy that doesn't like to clean). I was a little trepidatious about using this tablet, but managed to chop it into fourths so that I can dissolve each piece in a 32-oz spray bottle. It works, but I wish I could find the tablets in a smaller size so that I didn't have to go to the trouble of trying to chop them up in even pieces. But for odor control, it's brilliant.

I've had this for a while now, just sitting around because I wasn’t totally sure if it was safe to use with pets and people in the house. Our place definitely has that “we live with a dog” smell going on - like, borderline dog kennel vibes - so I was really hoping it would help.A couple of weeks ago, we went out of town for the weekend with the dog, and I figured that was the perfect time to finally try it. I followed the instructions, did a little extra reading online just to be safe, and left the tablet in the area that always smells the most - basically our dog’s zone (crate, toys, bed, food... the whole setup).We came back after the trip, and I was honestly expecting to either smell no difference or walk into a weird chemical scent. But nope, the house smelled noticeably fresher like it was recently cleaned. It’s a big space, and I only used one tablet, but it clearly made a difference in that room. That’s the same room we’ve gone nose-blind to, but could still smell whenever we came home from being out. This time, that smell was hardly noticeable. There was a noticeable bleach smell though, so I opened the windows to air it out.So yeah, I think it actually works. Next time, I might try using a few tablets around the house. It’s definitely not cheap, but if it gets the whole place smelling clean without being overpowering, I’d say it’s worth it.

When I finally got around to testing this for a review, I was left confused by the instruction card that came with it. It told me that if I'm using a 4 gram tablet, to add it to a 48 oz spray bottle, but this was a 20 gram tablet and the only reference to it was a warning when using it on an automotive to at least use 8 oz of water. I was left to add what I thought would work with what I got. I ended up using about a gallon and a half and the things I wanted to get odor out of were soaked in it and it work fine. They need a better instruction card and then I could give this five stars.

Idk qhy sone say its too strong. I used it in a full size cargo van i purchased at an auction, smelled like deodorant trying to cover mariguana smell. And it worked like a charm!!Just placed in a small bucket, let it sit for 2 hrs w all windows closed then let it set for 3 more with windows cracked open.And WOW!! Buying another for a rental property

I used this in my garage where there were some lingering garbage odors and some odor from spilled grease that got kicked over. It worked very well. It is VERY strong to be able to absorb and remove the odors, so it's best do mix this outside and then bring it inside as the smell that it makes when mixing is very strong at first. Id' recommend for best use is to do this and then leave the area for an extended period of time. For instance, I put this in my garage and then we left for 2 days of travel and came back to an odorless garage! My personal opinion is that while this worked well, It is expensive and I would probably seek out cheaper alternatives before going this route again.

This chlorine dioxide product is absolutely heavy duty for cleaning and neutralizing odor. Absolutely works but very noxious. Be careful when using.

This worked well to remove odor from the room our pet litter boxes are in, where there was just a lingering odor all the time. I followed the instructions, and used before going away for the weekend so we wouldn't be bothered by the product itself. Our pets came on the rip too, so there was no risk to them getting into the product. It worked well, and time will tell how long it lasts for.

Let me start off by saying when you go to mix these in water do this outside!! As they dissolve in the water a strong chlorine smell is emitted. Doing it outside was fine and then having it in a spray bottle for use inside the house is fine. I honestly feel that things are cleaner when I use this product. A little goes a long way and this will last unlike other cleaners.I hope this review has been helpful

My outdoor trash can was reeking. Yes, I know they are going to smell, they do hold trash after all. But, it was getting really rank. I decided to try these tablets and couldn't believe how well they worked.I put tablets in a container of water, used grabbers to put that container in the bottom of the can, and closed the lid. After a couple of hours the gassing was done and my trash bin was so much better. We followed up with a pressure washer to get it extra clean and it's like new.

I usually don't like to read other reviews before I write my own so that I can give my unbiased initial impression. However, when I had a question about how to use this product, I am glad I did read the reviews before using the 1ness Extra Strength Chlorine Dioxide Odor Neutralizing Tablet since one person stated they got burns from it and others mentioned how strong it is. This made me not want to use it indoors, which was the original reason why I ordered it. Sounds like just need to be sure are extra careful when using and wear protection such as plastic gloves and eye protection goggles.In addition, its listing shows how strong it is since the types of odors it claims to neutralize include skunk, smoke, gasoline, paint, etc. I don't have any of those situations to use this on, but it seems like a helpful product to keep on hand for specific situations where neutralizing is necessary. If I use it before going away for a couple days, I'll be sure to take my pets with me.Note that even though both the product name and its listing states they are tablets (meaning more than one), that only one tablet is included. The one tablet was individually wrapped.

Worked on the Worst Cat Urine Smell ImaginableNot a mild “oh, that’s unpleasant” smell. I’m talking about no one can live in this apartment level of bad. The odor had fully soaked into everything.I used this product twice. The first time, I sealed the apartment, closed all windows, and ran it for an hour. Huge improvement. The second time, I got serious. Left it for two hours, windows closed, vents taped off, fans on, and anything delicate covered with trash bags. It knocked out 99% of the stink.Afterward, there’s a strong pool/bleach smell, but it fades and just smells clean. I’m ordering another tablet just in case I need it again in a couple of months, but for now, I’m thrilled with the results. Total lifesaver.

I set this up in my house to get rid of dog smells that I apparently have gone nose blind over. I ran out and closed up the house and left it empty for the weekend while I went on a camping trip with the family and dogs, and came back to an odor free home (confirmed by family that haven't gone nose blind). Super easy to use, just follow the directions. Would recommend to always have one on hand just in case.

Couldn't be easier to use, just drop the tablet in water and let it sit. I have the 20g size and it's the size of 6-8 quarters stacked together. I put this under the kitchen sink because I think something may have died under the house or something. After a day or so, things were much improved. I think a bit pricey but works. This is a scent disinfectant meant for an aerator. I didn't have one but I did have a bubbler meant for creating jets and I just wanted to see if it would work and it really did get rid of the intense litter box odor!This stuff is so effective I would probably wait to use it on something so noxious and vile. It's pretty easy to use safely and without irritation. It's expensive which is why I would save it for the nuclear option.

This 20 gram tablet is a size best used as a room or car odor bomb. The product has a strong bleach smell to it. Make sure you read and follow the directions and wear proper PPE. Chlorine Dioxide is one of the chemicals professional crews use to remove tough odors as it off gasses and gets to places where a spray bottle can’t. Nice, clean, easy to use
