DMSO has an affinity for water — it is hygroscopic. When DMSO is mixed with water, the reaction is exothermic, which means warming (produces heat). Because of this, there is a warming sensation when DMSO is applied to damp skin.

It is strongly advised to dilute DMSO prior to use. Our solution is very high purity and requires dilution.

DMSO is rapidly absorbed through the skin and can carry other compounds with it. Avoid contact with your eyes and other sensitive areas. Misuse may be harmful, so please consult with your licensed healthcare provider prior to use.

Dimethyl Sulfoxide has a freezing point of 65.3°F, or 18.4°C. It becomes solid below this temperature. If your bottle becomes solid, you can return it back to liquid form by placing it in a container of warm water. Or you can run your bottle under gentle-running warm water. Please take care when doing so. Always keep the bottle and contents away from any open flames or sources of heat.

Never microwave or boil your bottle. Do not expose your DMSO to temperatures above 110°F or 43.3°C. Make certain to store your bottle out of direct light and sources of heat.

Convenient to Use: gently shake your bottle prior to use. Make certain to wash your hands and the skin where you are applying.
